Summary

We hold passport collection records taken from lists the Immigration and Citizenship Service publishes publicly. We show less of that information than the published lists do. We do not track you.

What we hold

  • The application number, as printed in the published list.
  • The names as printed, used to match searches by name.
  • The collecting office and the date of the list.
  • A reference to the published list a record came from, so errors can be corrected.

What a search returns

Collection status, the office, the list period and a partially masked application number. A search by name lists the matching records with the names as printed, so you can identify your own.

Searching by number or by name

A search must identify the record it wants — either the exact application number, or the full name printed on it. Application numbers are always masked in results, result pages are excluded from search engines, and there is no way to browse or export records.

What we collect about you

No accounts, no advertising, no third-party analytics and no cookies for visitors. Searches are counted in aggregate only — the number searched for is never written to a log or a database.

Your IP address is used transiently to apply rate limits and is not associated with any search term.

Search engines

Informational pages are indexable. Search results are not: they are served with directives instructing engines not to index, follow or archive them, so this site never becomes a name-searchable archive that the published lists are not.

Retention and withdrawal

If the Immigration and Citizenship Service withdraws a published list, the records taken from it are hidden from search here. Records are retained only while they remain useful for collection.

Your rights

You may ask what is held about you, ask for a correction, or ask for removal. Removal requests are honoured without requiring a reason. Write to us via the contact page.

Legal basis

Processing concerns information already published by the source authority and is carried out to help the people named in it exercise a service they have applied for. If you believe this processing is unlawful, contact us and we will address it.
