Collecting your passport
A collection list means the booklet has been printed and sent to an office. It does not replace whatever the office itself tells you.
Go to the office named in your result
Passports are distributed to the office that handled the application, and the result shown here names that office. Addis Ababa is served by distribution stations rather than one central counter, and the station in use has changed over the years — which is why the office is read from each published list rather than assumed.
What to take with you
- The original application receipt showing your application number
- A government-issued identity document
- Any authorisation letter, if someone is collecting on your behalf
Requirements are set by the office, not by this site. Confirm with the branch before travelling, especially if you are coming a long distance.
If your number is not on a list yet
Most of the time this simply means your passport has not reached a published list. Lists appear every few days, each covering one office. A number that is missing today may appear later in the week.
Before assuming a problem, check that you entered the application number from the receipt rather than a passport number, and that the name matches the one on the application. If weeks pass with no listing, contact the office where you applied.
How current is this?
New lists are picked up automatically as they are published. The home page shows the date of the most recent list processed, so you can see for yourself how fresh the data is before relying on it.
This is not an official service
This site republishes information the Immigration and Citizenship Service has already made public. It cannot issue, expedite, correct or hold a passport, and it has no visibility into an application beyond what appears on a published list.
