From an official collection list to a result on your phone.
1. Offices publish collection lists
Each branch office of the Immigration and Citizenship Service publishes a list of the applications whose passports have arrived and are ready to be collected, roughly every three or four days per office.
A single list can run to thousands of rows. Finding one number by eye is slow on a phone, which is the problem this site exists to solve.
2. Every list is read automatically
New lists are picked up within minutes. Each one is checked before anything is stored, because other kinds of published notice — recruitment shortlists, examination results — are likewise lists of named people and must never be mixed into passport data. A list is only used if it genuinely contains an application-number column with numbers under it.
Two different list generations exist. Lists from 2023 and early 2024 use one column order and an older number format; current lists use another. Both are supported, so an older receipt still works.
3. The records become searchable
Rows are validated and stored against the application number. Because a number can appear on more than one list, every appearance is kept, and the most recent one is what a search returns.
4. You check your number — or your name
Enter the application number from your receipt, or just your first and father’s name if the receipt is not at hand. If matching records exist you will see the collection office and the list each appeared on. If not, you will be told plainly.
Reading a “not found” result
A negative result is not proof that your passport is not ready. It usually means no list containing it has been published yet. The home page always shows the date of the most recently processed list — if that date is several days old, wait and check again.
Because a wasted trip to a collection office costs real time and money, treat this service as a convenience, not as authority. Confirm with your branch office before travelling.
What we deliberately do not do
